Mr. Martin has been teaching for over 30 years, and is experienced with presenting masterclasses and leading sectionals. He is currently the professor of clarinet at Wayne State University. His students regularly receive First Division ratings at Solo & Ensemble and have been members of youth orchestras and honors bands throughout Michigan.  Some of his students have gone on to study music at the college level, often winning scholarships. While he has extensive experience with preparing students for high level competitions and professional careers, he enjoys working with players of all ages and experience levels.
